Over the past 26 years On the Run has grown to be the best running shoe store in the Bay Area. We moved several years ago into our new 3,000 square foot location and have expanded our selection beyond running shoes. Our large selection of comfort European walking shoes includes Mephisto, Ecco, Dansko and many others. We have been fortunate to work with a number of sports medical centers and podiatrists. In fact, at least fifty percent of our customers come to us initially through doctor referral. As a result of our joint efforts we have put many athletes and everyday customers back to running and walking pain free.

We train our staff to match the customer’s foot type and maladies with the shoe that will work best for them, and we will continue to be innovative in our approach to products and the best methods to serve our customers
